Harpley and Strauss is the new trading name of Peter Harpley Fine Art. We are an on-line art dealership and print publisher.

The company is run by two directors: Peter Harpley and Dr Julia Strauss. Strauss is a Doctor of ancient history and long time collector, while Harpley is a photographer.

Harpley and Strauss became aquainted as dealer and client with Artmonsky Arts, a gallery in North West London which Harpley set up in 1998 with the collector and art historian, Ruth Artmonsky. Harpley set up Peter Harpley Fine Art in 2002 with Julia Strauss as a major shareholder. They showed very successfully in London, Bristol, and in New York. In 2006, it was decided to embark on a new print publishing project, to enable many of the painters they have sold in the preceding years to become available to a far wider market and audience.

The first two artists who will feature Giclée prints published by Harpley and Strauss, are Andrew Dillon and Peter Harpley. Dillon's prints will be reproductions of his oil paintings - initially 'The Giant Pelican' and 'The Journey to the Moon'. Harpley's are all works created especially for printing in this medium.
